If you have already reached an agreement, we can guide you through the court paperwork so you can obtain a legally binding agreement (consent order) as quickly as possible.
Child Arrangement Orders
Child arrangements orders decide:
- where your child lives
- when your child spends time with each parent.
- when and what other types of contact, like phone calls, take place.
- Child arrangements orders’ replace ‘residence orders’ and ‘contact orders’.
Aside from these Orders you can seek a ‘specific issue order’, which is used to look at a specific question about the child’s upbringing.
You can also apply for a ‘prohibited steps order’ to stop the other parent from making a decision about the child’s upbringing or from taking certain action in respect of the child, such as approaching the child’s school or nursery.
